On the 19th of September, the groundbreaking ceremony of the EVE Qujing power storage battery project first phase was successfully held in Qujing, Yunnan Province.
The ceremony was attended by the member of the Standing Committee of Yunnan Provincial Party Committee and Secretary of Qujing Municipal Party Committee Shisong Li, Secretary of Party and Work Committee of Qujing Economic Development Zone Jianqiao Mao, Director of Economic Development Zone Zhimin Xia, and other leaders of relevant departments of the city and district; Vice President of EVE Energy and President of Yunnan District Mufen Li, and other executives of the company. The ceremony was hosted by the Executive Vice Mayor of Qujing City Jiawu Gong.
Project Plan
In her speech, Vice President Mufen Li expressed gratitude for the strong support from various departments in Yunnan Province and Qujing City. She believed that the EVE battery project could start within a short period of time fully reflecting Qujing's determination and speed to accelerate the construction of the Yunnan sub-center city from a higher starting point. EVE promises to integrate resources with the whole company and set up a team at the fastest speed, strive to make a demonstration project for Qujing's new energy battery industry, and contribute high-quality increments to Qujing's social and economic development.

As a significant region in the strategic layout of EVE, the cooperation between EVE and Yunnan continues to develop: in February this year, EVE and industry chain partners signed the "Cooperation Agreement on New Energy Battery Whole Industry Chain Project" with Yuxi Government; in May, EVE signed the "Investment Agreement" with Yuxi High-tech Zone Management Committee, and signed the "Investment Agreement on Annual Production of 10GWh Power Energy Storage Battery" with Qujing Government and Qujing Economic Development Zone Management Committee; in June, Yuxi 10GWh power storage battery project started; in September, Qujing power storage battery project phase I started.
In the future, EVE will keep building a new energy battery industry cluster with more competitive advantages in Yunnan.
