On the 15th of December, EVE headquarters R&D center was officially inaugurated in Huizhou. Dr. Liu Jincheng mentioned that the headquarters R&D center of EVE invested in Huizhou is an electrochemical energy research base with global influence, which meets the requirements of market demand and sustainable human development.
Dr. Liu Jincheng introduced that EVE has built five directional research institutes, and also set up several institutes in equipment materials and mobile energy technology. By the end of 2023, EVE expects to build a comprehensive R&D institution around electrochemical energy systems. EVE hopes to build the most creative lithium battery enterprise with full strength to face the world and the future and make a historic contribution to the sustainable development of the country, the nation and human beings.
On behalf of Huizhou Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government, Li Bingsheng Vice Mayor congratulated the completion of EVE's R&D center. The completion of EVE’s R&D center represents the deepening strategic cooperation between Huizhou Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government, Zhongkai High-tech Zone and EVE. It also marks a milestone achievement in building Huizhou's 100-billion-level new energy battery industry cluster, which is of great significance in improving Huizhou's new energy industry chain and enhancing its industrial competitiveness.

The EVE Headquarters R&D Center has invested more than 2 billion yuan and has a construction area of 145,000 square meters. EVE R&D Center has taken a total of 16 months to complete. The center is equipped with Power Battery Research Institute and Battery System Research Institute, with electrical performance test centers, safety test centers and R&D labs, covering precision testing and analysis of cylindrical batteries, prismatic batteries, modules, BMS, energy storage systems and other products.
