On the morning of November 18th, the commissioning ceremony of the EVE-Linyang 10GWh energy storage battery project was successfully held in Qidong, Jiangsu Province.

Vice Mayor of Nantong and Secretary of Qidong Municipal Committee Li Ling, Vice Secretary of Qidong Municipal Committee and Mayor Yang Zhongjian, Vice Mayor of Qidong Wang Chunhua, Chairman of EVE Dr. Liu Jincheng, President of Linyang and Chairman of Linyang Energy Lu Yonghua, President of EVE Liu Jianhua, Vice chairman of Linyang Energy Lu Yongxin, Vice president of EVE Power and EVE Energy Storage general manager Chen Xiang and other relevant leaders attended to witness the completion and commissioning of the project. The commissioning ceremony was hosted by Gao Guangjun, member of the Standing Committee of the Qidong Municipal Committee and Secretary of the Party Working Committee of the Economic Development Zone.

Gao Guangjun said that Qidong Economic Development Zone always takes project construction as the "ballast" and "power source" of high-quality economic development. On behalf of the Party Working Committee and the Management Committee of Qidong Economic Development Zone, he extended a warm welcome to the leaders and guests attending the ceremony. Gao also extended heartfelt congratulations to EVE-Linyang and cordial greetings to the comrades working on the front line of the project construction.

Linyang Energy introduces EVE, its close partner for more than 20 years, to Qidong, and jointly establishes an energy storage factory, realizing a strong combination of the industry chain, which will write a new chapter of cooperation for both sides and open a new journey of a win-win situation.

In his speech, Dr. Liu Jincheng, Chairman of EVE, expressed his gratitude to all the employees who have overcome many challenges and made unremitting efforts during the construction of the project. He emphasized that the successful completion and commissioning of the project is another great result of EVE-Linyang Energy's in-depth cooperation in the field of energy storage industry, which is a concrete manifestation of both parties' response to the national "The 14th Five-Year Plan" and the goal of "Carbon peaking & Carbon neutrality". EVE-Linyang will strive to achieve full production this year and bring into play the benefits to provide dynamic energy for local economic development and contribute to the sustainable development of mankind.

She said that two leading enterprises, EVE and Linyang Energy, develop their respective advantages and carry out in-depth cooperation to win the future track. We sincerely wished that both companies could ride on the east wind of the energy revolution, seize the opportunity of technological breakthroughs and create a new future of high-quality development of the lithium industry.

Afterwards, Secretary of Qidong Municipal Committee Li Ling, Deputy Secretary and Mayor of Qidong Municipal Committee Yang Zhongjian, Dr. Liu Jincheng, Lu Yonghua and other guests went on stage to start the countdown button, and EVE-Linyang 10GWh energy storage battery project was officially put into operation. After the ceremony, the guests visited the EVE-Linyang 10GWh energy storage battery project factory together.

EVE-Linyang 10GWh energy storage battery project is located in the Qidong Economic Development Zone, invested and constructed by EVE Energy Co., Ltd. and EVE-Linyang Energy Storage Technology Co., Ltd, with a total investment of 3 billion RMB in the first phase of the project. The project started construction in January 2022 and was put into operation on November 18, 2022.

This production is a significant part of EVE's continuous expansion of the whole industrial chain, marking a new step in the construction of EVE's world-class factory. Standing at the starting point of "cell", EVE continues to seize the opportunity in the energy storage market, injecting strong power into the industry, promoting the high-quality development of renewable energy, and providing quality products and services to customers worldwide.
